Vitaly Kryuchin
President, IPSC
Since becoming IPSC president, Vitaly Kryuchin has spearheaded major initiatives, including the development of the IPSC Junior Program to engage youth in the sport and the creation of a transgender policy to foster inclusivity. He also advanced international training standards through the Main International Shooting Instructors Association (MISIA), ensuring high-quality, uniform coaching worldwide.
Mr. Kryuchin has led the push for Olympic recognition of IPSC, strengthened partnerships with global trainer organizations, and supported match cycle reforms such as introducing World Cups between World Shoots. His oversight extended to equipment rules, notably advocating for expanding optics options in PCC, and promoting athlete safety and global participation despite evolving firearm laws.
