Dear Members,
I hope this finds you all safe and well including your family members, as we are all too well aware shooting was closed down during this COVID 19 pandemic and it is only recently that some of our Affiliated Clubs with outdoor facilities have been able to re-open with all of the required safety measures in place following government guidelines.

I regret to inform you that the planned Level III at NITSA has been postponed until October ( I am sure that there are still slots available for members of good standing, contact NITSA )
I must also inform you that the N.Ireland National Championship Level III which was to have taken place at Dungannon in August has been cancelled. Arrangements are being made to issue refunds to those competitors who have paid their entry fee, please contact Drpc.memberships@yahoo.co.uk

Due to the current restrictions on the number of people from different households allowed to meet at outdoor locations I believe that it is unlikely that we will see any matches taking place this year.

Could I also take this opportunity to remind those members who have not yet paid their membership for 2020 that this is now overdue. As a region, we have done our upmost to keep membership fees as low as possible but unfortunately, we must still pay our affiliation and per capita fees to IPSC. I did contact our President Mr Vitaly Kryuchin and suggest that as there was no IPSC Matches taking place around the world due to the COVID 19 Pandemic that IPSC should waive the per capita fees for 2020. I did receive a very polite reply which amounted to !!!! !! you miserable N.Irish !!!!!!!

On a brighter note, I am very pleased to say that I spent some time on the range on Saturday 13/06/20 with one of our fellow IPSC members and Range Officers who had just spent 2 months and 3 days in the hospital with coronavirus most of which were in intensive care. It was really good to see him back on the Range. I look forward to seeing you all back on the Range in the very near future.

Very best regards,
Geoffrey McBride ( Regional Director NIR. )
